Campaign Risk Disclosure

Physical Builds involve real-world uncertainty. Build Backers reviews each Build Plan to reduce avoidable risk, but review is not a guarantee.

Prototype and production risk

A Build may not yet exist in final form. Images may show concepts, renders, studies, or prototypes. Materials, finish, colour, minor dimensions, production method, or packaging may change when disclosed changes are reasonably necessary to complete the Build.

Timing and fulfilment risk

Estimated Build Windows are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Supplier delays, fabrication problems, creator availability, safety changes, carrier disruption, customs, weather, damage, or other events may delay fulfilment.

Funding and cancellation risk

A Build may fail to reach its threshold, be modified before launch, or be paused or cancelled because production, rights, safety, cost, or fulfilment assumptions no longer hold. Applicable refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

Limited-run and one-off variation

Handmade, artist-produced, and limited-run items may contain reasonable variation. One-off works may require pickup, installation, specialist shipping, or other campaign-specific arrangements.

No financial interest

A backer is purchasing the described item, recognition, or support benefit. A backer receives no equity, revenue rights, profit participation, voting rights, or ownership in Build Backers or the creator’s business.

Review every Build page, Build Confidence summary, selected slot, estimated window, fulfilment notes, and refund terms before backing.
